China Paper and Pulp Industry Chamber of Commerce (CPICC), a national social organization, is approved by the State Council, registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and supervised by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

CPICC is composed of leading enterprises from diverse sectors and regions within China's pulp and paper industry, including prominent companies such as Nine Dragons Paper, Huatai Group, Sun Paper, China Paper, Asia Symbol, Bohui Paper, Hengan Group, Vinda Paper, Jianhui Paper, Century Sunshine, Dahe Holding, Shengda Group, Vanov Group, Jinguanfangzhou Paper Logistics, Rongsheng Environmental Paper, Jinzhou Paper, C&D Paper & Pulp, Hengfeng Paper, and Jiangnan Paper etc. 

CPICC has a broad reach, encompassing over 300 large and medium-sized enterprises across more than 20 provinces in China. It covers the entire pulp, paper, and paper packaging industry chain, including chemicals, equipment manufacturing, printing, logistics, trade, and forestry.

CPCC serves as a crucial link between the government and the paper and pulp industry playing a lead role in mobilizing industry forces, integrating market resources, establishing communication platforms, maintaining industry order, coordinating industry relationships, promoting resource sharing and complementarity; it also actively participates in major national strategies and drives regional economic development.

CPICC, an industry organization with a strong international presence, has forged stable and long-term cooperative relationships with leading global pulp and paper companies, including International Paper, UPM, Metsä, APP, Asia Symbol, Suzano, Eldorado, CMPC, Arauco, Oji Paper etc, alongside long-term strategic collaborations with leading paper machinery and automation companies (Valmet, Voith, ANDRITZ, ABB, Siemens). Additionally, CPICC has built long-lasting collaborative mechanisms with industry organizations and consulting firms in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, Finland, and India etc. These partnerships have played a pivotal role in promoting the internationalization of China's pulp and paper industry and facilitating exchanges and cooperation with international giants.

CPICC hosts the "China Paper Industry Development Conference (CPIDC)". CPIDC, now in its 17th session, is a significant annual conference co-hosted by prominent enterprises in China's pulp and paper industry, along with leading suppliers of international papermaking equipment, chemicals, and raw materials.

In collaboration with the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), CPICC has developed the "China-Europe Consistent Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCRs) for Paper and Paper Products." Furthermore, it has established the "Environmental Footprint Accounting Service Platform" in partnership with professional organizations, providing services for carbon footprint accounting for the pulp, paper, and packaging industry.
